On three consecutive mornings, local schools will offer an instructive programme for students aged 9 to 13. Interested teachers may sign their class up for trial climbing lessons with the objective to allow children to get a feeling for climbing and develop an interest in mountaineering. A brief introduction to the theoretical part of climbing will be given to the children, after which the practical aspect will prevail again. The competence of and good collaboration between the South Tyrol Alpine Club (AVS) Bressanone/Brixen members and the local Education Authority for German Language have allowed us to create an interesting, fun and entertaining schedule for the youngest of climbers.
