At the IMS Boulder Jam, it's everybody with and against everyone. Although fun is the main objective of the contest, there can only be one winner: Up to 160 participants will get the chance to compete in two turns on 30 routes (boulders) and tackle as many of them as possible. The very best 5 female and 5 male boulderers will then move on to the Boulder Jam finals, which will be judged in Shoot-Out mode with 3 final boulders each.
The winners qualify for the IMS Cup 09 and will receive a starting bonus of € 300. And as if that wasn't enough, they can compete with some of the world's best boulderers and get a shot at € 750 worth of prize money!
Contestants' performances will be judged individually and in teams of four.
The minimum age for participation is 15 years.
At the After-Contest Party competitors will get a chance to show their stuff in an exciting dyno contest.
The worldrecord stands on 2,83m, can you beat it?
