IMS Abklettern

Back in the 1930s, climbing was a passion largely reserved to a small group of fearless adventurers. Back then, local tradition had it that mountaineers and climbers in the Dolomites would meet up for the year's last few climbs in late autumn. They took these sociable gatherings as an opportunity to exchange information and learn about new climbing techniques, trends and accomplishments, and called them "warming down". The IMS has decided to revive this old tradition and offer its visitors a chance to meet other mountain fans, do some networking or simply cultivate old friendships.
