Dean Potter is the only extreme sportsman to excel at three different sports. His high-risk ice and rock solo climbs have caused worldwide sensation. He walks without protection on slacklines spanning canyons that are hundreds of metres deep. And, clothed in his "wing suit", he jumps from precipitous rock faces and flies impressive distances before opening his parachute. By combining these three sports, aerialist Dean Potter has created a new style. In his mulitmedia talk, Dean retraces the path he has followed in order to make his dream of flying come true. Within the community of extreme sportsmen, he is considered as an idol by some and denounced for his breakneck stunts and rebellious ways by others. During his talk, Dean also shares his thoughts about emotional highs and lows as well as about his relaitonship with nature: two elements that lie at the very core not only of his lifestyle, but also of his amazing flying skills.
