Adam Ondra
Climbing - as the air he breathes
Location: Forum Brixen
At the tender age of 18, Adam Ondra is already among the world's best climbers. He revives old classics which nobody has dared to approach for decades, red-pointing the multi-pitch route WoGü in the Swiss Rätikon Alps to name but one example. Opening new routes, he sets whole new standards (La Capella, Chaxi Raxi and La Planta de Shiva, all 9b) and is constantly clinging on to a wall of some kind when he's not in school. A natural climber, he lives in his own, vertical dimension. In his presentation, Adam shares his climber's and adventurer's life with his audience, taking us with him on this year's trips to Spain, South Africa, Madagascar, Switzerland, England and many other fascinating places. An excursion into the world of a laid-back, modest and nonetheless impressive climbing enthusiast.
