Leaving Bressanone/Brixen by coach, we drive to Zumis on 1749 m and start hiking to the Malga Sasso/Steineralm pastures on an easy forestry road. There we continue along to the Cima Lasta/Astjoch peak (2194 m) which lies directly opposite the impressive Sas de Pütia/Peitlerkofel peak. On our return we stop for lunch at the Rastnerhütte inn (1931 m), after which we hike back to the coach on a forest path.
