We set off from the DOB (Design Outlet Brenner) at Brennero/Brenner on 1370 m and hike past the Eisack waterfall all the way to the Steinalm pastures. From there we continue on to the top of Sattelberg, which marks the border between North and South Tyrol, i.e. between Austria and Italy. Hiking back, we stop for lunch at the Sattelbergalm mountain inn (1633 m), from where a section of the Tiroler Höhenweg trail takes us back to where we set off from. After a short snack we return to Bressanone/Brixen by coach.
