Setting off from Bressanone/Brixen by coach, we drive to the Schlemmer mountain inn on Mount Plose. After our hike along the Dolomites panorama trail to the Pfannspitze peak (2545 m), a breath-taking view suddenly reveals the Dolomites group just south of us and the Austrian glaciers of the Zillertal Alps in the north. Upon our return we stop at the Schatzerhütte inn (2004 m) for a rustic snack in a cosy atmosphere and then hike back to the Schlemmer inn before returning to Bressanone/Brixen by coach.
