Medical Director of the Nepal International Clinic- specialised in altitude related illnesses. Current President of Union International Des Association D’Alpinisme UIAA (The International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation). Lead Investigator of Oxford Clinical Research Unit, Nepal. Editorial Board member: High Altitude Medicine and Biology (Editor John West), Wilderness and Environmental Medicine (Editor Robert Norris), Journal of Travel Medicine (Edi for Robert Steffen).
